Pretty self explanatory really - a lovely new (to us at least) couch from George's parents and a nice new rug (on sale would you believe!) and we almost have a grown up lounge room - except for the AWESOME train track running aroung the rug - well, you can't have everything.

Well I think this is a really great tree - especially as it was made by my husband and is (so far) toddler proof (hence the large amount of 'precious' decorations up away from reach...).
It's so great I think we may have to splash out for a more impressive set of lights than the Crazies ones bought quite a few years ago...

We have quite happily paid two men to sand the (lead based) paint from the outside of our house in preparation for a new paint job. The lead meant the house had to wrapped up (Christo style...) - which made for an odd look - but Avant Garde I think not. Now it's our very own rustic log cabin.
